When it comes to choosing the right travel items for Europe, I focus on comfort, practicality, and anything that makes traveling with kids easier. With a trip to Spain and France coming up in March, I am officially in planning mode. Flights are booked, routes are mapped out, and now comes one of my favorite parts of travel preparation. Buying the small but mighty items that make a big difference once you are on the road.
When traveling internationally with kids, comfort and convenience matter just as much as the destination itself. These are five travel items I am purchasing specifically for this trip and why they have earned a spot in our bags.

One thing European hotels have taught me over the years is that outlets are often limited. Between phones, watches, tablets, and headphones, one outlet simply is not enough for a family.

If you have followed my travels for any amount of time, you have probably heard me talk about the BubbleBum booster seat. We have used it on multiple trips and it has been a game changer for family travel.
For this trip, I am buying the next one for my son. It inflates quickly, packs down small, and works perfectly for taxis, rideshares, and rental cars throughout Europe. Not having to carry a bulky booster seat through airports and cities is worth it every single time.

Long flights are much easier when everything has a place. This tray table organizer keeps snacks, coloring supplies, headphones, and small toys easily accessible during the flight.

I have considered buying a foot sling for several trips now and never actually followed through. For this Europe trip, I am finally pulling the trigger.

These are not flashy purchases, but they are the items that make traveling smoother, more comfortable, and less stressful. When traveling through multiple countries with kids, small conveniences add up quickly.
